SafeSport Awareness Training Requirements

 

As part of Tennessee State Soccer Association (TSSA) Risk Management Program, TSSA requires that all competitive and recreational coaches complete the Safesport Abuse Awareness Training program.  
 
The purpose of this Safesport Abuse Training is to educate coaches to recognize the grooming process of the sexual predator, with the intent that clubs be better able to better safeguard our young athletes.in a 3-part series. Each training module last about 30 minutes and can be taken in segments. Once completed the first year of coaching, each additional year will be a 30-minute review course.

What happens after the Safesport Training is completed?

The Safesport training certificate will be automatically synced to your Affinity account (same one you use to submit your Background Check) as long as the below three criteria matches in Affinity and Safesport.
